🎨 Call for Artist: Outdoor Mural Project in Danbury! 🎨

The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut and Third-Space Danbury are thrilled to announce an opportunity for artists to design and install a large outdoor mural at Rogers Park in Danbury, CT. This mural will be the first in a series of public art installations aimed at fostering community connection and social cohesion.

Theme: Roots and Wings - A Celebration of Community

We seek a vibrant mural that celebrates Danbury’s rich cultural diversity, highlighting the myriad languages, traditions, and stories that define our community. The artwork should capture the joy of shared moments among families and children, the dynamic energy of our arts scene, and our collective commitment to inclusivity and well-being.

Project Details:
• Budget: Artist stipend up to $2,000
• Location: Rogers Park, near Veterans Hall
• Eligibility: Open to all artists, with a strong encouragement for those residing or working in Danbury and surrounding towns.

Key Dates:
• Application Deadline: April 18, 2025
• Installation Period: May/June 2025
