Danese Vol. Fire Department And Rescue Squad We are Station 2 in Fayette County Wv. We are a Vol Fire and Rescue Squad. Our number one goal is to protect and serve our community.

We have members trained in high angle rescue, swift water rescue, fire fighting, auto extraction, first aid and cpr, aed.

Top of Layland Mountain to Prince

Please don't drive through standing or moving water, even if it looks safe. You have no way of knowing what the road looks like beneath the water, or of knowing how deep the water really is. It only takes a few inches of moving water to pull a vehicle off the road. Please stay safe!

There's potential for very serious weather tomorrow with long lasting challenges. We would like to remind the community that generators are a great alternative power source when the electric is out, but please remember to only use them in a well ventilated area. Carbon monoxide build up is a very serious and dangerous possibility when generators are not used or ventilated properly. Carbon monoxide has no odor (smell), taste, or color. Some symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning are headache, weakness, dizziness, nausea/vomiting, shortness of breath, confusion, blurred vision, sleepiness, loss of muscle control, and loss of consciousness. If you experience any of these symptoms, or you notice someone appearing to be experiencing these symptoms, get into fresh air and seek emergency medical care right away.

As we get settled back in to the busy world of work we would like to take a moment and think every body who came out and participated in our event this weekend. It sucks the weather bit us on the car show but we had some loyal people who stuck it out and we had a blast.

We would like to thank Mr Tom if it wasn’t for him none of the shows would exist or happen that man goes above and beyond and has a true love for these events.

To the guys and girls at the station that help including our wonderful auxiliary members thank you all very much. The time and hours yall put in to these things is wild but very much so appreciated

To the Critchley family yalls partnership on the fire works has been a dream come true from the beginning when this all started. With out you guys the shows wouldn’t be what they are.

To our fans and spectators thank you for supporting us and whatever we try to do. Yall are the reason we do this. Keep being safe and we shall see yall at the next one.

Lady’s and gentleman this is Mrs. Kinley Martin and boy she’s got a voice on her. She is set up at the fire house till 630 this evening and will be at p*e w**d house fallowing that. Come enjoy some great music and fun.

Our car show is back up and we're taking registrations! Delicious food is being sold until 7pm, we've got live music until 6:30, and fireworks start at dark!
