Thanks to Primo’s Pizzeria & Pub for creating a GoFundMe to raise money to feed first responders while also supporting Downtown Danville independently-owned restaurants.

Your donations will allow their team to purchase meals every day from local and independently-owned restaurants. Most downtown restaurants do not offer in-house delivery, so experienced Primo’s Pizzeria & Pub delivery drivers will pick up the food from the restaurant of the day and deliver the food to the frontline staff of this crisis.

This hashtag says it all about our community. We love this town and we are here to help our neighbors get through this time. It's been a bit quiet around and we know many businesses would love to open their doors again, but some might not be as fortunate. Would you like to find a way to give back and help keep our small businesses alive? Head over to our site for ways to donate or help out.

Here’s your chance to support local businesses in style and do your part to help your friends and fellow residents make it through this current crisis! Due to the State of California’s Shelter In Place order, the majority of Danville’s businesses have been forced to close, cut off from their ability to generate revenue. In order to preserve our beloved community, now is the time to act to help and support the small business owners who have made our area what it is today! The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce has started a Small Business Relief Fund to help those hardest hit by the impact of COVID-19 in Alamo, Blackhawk, Danville and Diablo. Thanks to the generous sponsorship from Community Bank of the Bay, profits from every T-shirt purchase will go directly to the Relief Fund and help us help the Danville Area merchants, restaurants and more in their efforts to keep their doors open!

Purchase T-shirts at Campaigns.RealThread.com. T-shirts will be shipped following the completion of the campaign at the end of May 2020.

With the recent notification by the San Ramon Valley Unified School District regarding school closures through April 10th, our small businesses and their owners are faced with a massive challenge as they balance how to conduct business within the scope of COVID-19 prevention, manage the ever increasing loss of business and how to staff properly for the business levels of today, while managing childcare for themselves and their employees. With this in mind the Danville Area Chamber is searching for resolutions for the businesses impacted by these closures. If you are a business or know of a business that is impacted by the school closure, please reach out to our President /CEO Zae Perrin at [email protected], so that we can discuss possible solutions, resources and actions. Please title the email "School Closure".

New Business in YogaSix has a New GM, who is a veteran in keeping Danville fit!!! Congratulations to Tanya Meeryman and YogaSix Danville! More to come soon.....

We are so thrilled to welcome and introduce the new General Manager for YogaSix Danville - Tanya Merryman!!

Not only is she a seasoned GM managing studios for the last 15 years - most recently at The Studio in Danville, she is a passionate yogi and instructor that loves teaching empowering, uplifting classes. And… she’s just one of those ‘does it all’ kind of gals - mom of 2 boys that still finds time to rock fitness competitions and be a Lululemon ambassador. She’s always got a huge smile for life, and we could not be luckier that she’s joined us to lead YogaSix Danville.

Trust me - she’ll convince you from personal experience how yoga will transform your life and body. If you are interested in being part of the YogaSix Danville community, please shoot Tanya an email at [email protected]. We can’t wait to meet you on the mat Spring 2020!

Any local auto businesses whom can help SRVHS support the needs of the auto shop classes? November 22, 2019 Dear SRVHS Parents and Guardians, My name is Wyatt Slanec and I teach Auto Shop at San Ramon Valley High School. I took over the program midway through last year. SRVHS has the only automotive class in the district and surrounding districts. I am fully invested in restoring our auto shop program to its full potential. I am reaching out to the San Ramon Valley and surrounding communities for support - with your help, we can revive our program and continue to foster hands-on learning in an environment where all students are safe and comfortable with the supplies and equipment they need. Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated. Our students need this program to expose them to different avenues in life after high school, learn basic life skills, and give them the opportunity to succeed in a Career Tech Education (CTE) pathway. Helping students explore careers and building their confidence in their work readiness skills are my goals for each of my students. I am so proud of our students who invest their time and energy into this class, please help me provide a safe environment with the necessary space and equipment for them to flourish and find their passion. I am also seeking financial assistance from the following organizations: 1. SRVHS PTSA Grants 2. SRVHS Site Council Grants 3. SRVHS Academic Booster Grants 4. We are also going to promote this request school wide Below is the list of supplies and equipment we would appreciate your support with, in order of importance and necessity: ● 2-post lift $4962 ● Shop upkeep items $1100 ● Welding Supplies $1205 ● Materials for welding $1000 ● Wheel balancer $2650 If you would like to track our progress, please visit our website at: https://srvhs.schoolloop.com/autoshop Thank you for supporting us, Wyatt Slanec Auto 1/Auto Tech/English 11 Teacher
