Sudan’s mineral resources could help expand the supply of materials we use in technologies Americans rely on every day, like phones and cars.

This legislation offers a path toward greater economic cooperation with the United States and Sudan, provided Sudan’s government shows real progress in protecting its people.

Agricultural research helps our farmers feed and fuel the world. USDA’s $180 million Seed Sovereignty Initiative will help researchers develop stronger crop varieties that can respond to new pests and diseases, all while reducing our dependence on foreign competitors.

This is a fantastic initiative from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Farm security is national security, and this investment will help strengthen both.
