Man, we hands-down have the BEST science department!

Huge shoutout to Ms. Groet and Mr. Taylor for going above and beyond for our kids. After finishing their latest unit, they teamed up to split the students—giving extra reteaching and pushing extension learning!

At WJ, our students get the entire team, not just a single teacher! So proud of the dedication in these hallways. 👏🎓

And the name is… The Carroll Collective!

Congratulations to Briah P., the winner of our Name-the-Yearbook Contest! Briah’s creative idea was selected as the official name for the very first volume of the WJC Middle yearbook.

The contest invited students to help create a lasting WJC tradition by choosing a name that celebrates our school, our community, and the memories we make together. Now, The Carroll Collective will carry that tradition forward for years to come, capturing the people, moments, and milestones that make WJC special.

Thank you to everyone who submitted an idea and helped us make history! Here’s to the first of many volumes of The Carroll Collective!
