🏊There has been an update to our facilities swimming operations.

⏲️Swimming will be closed from August 24th through the 27th and August 31st through September 3rd. Outside of those dates hours will remain the same.

Saturday August 22nd – Butterfly Ramble, 10:00am-12:00pm
Thursday August 27th – Dragonflies of Harlow Lake, 10:00am-11:00am
Thursday September 3rd – Shotgun Ridge Hike, 10:00am-12:00pm
Tuesday September 22nd – First Day of Fall Hike, 10:00am-12:00pm
Thursday September 24th – The 5 S’s of Birding, 10:00am-12:00pm
Saturday September 26th – Free Fishing Day, 10:00am-3:00pm
Saturday September 26th – Furs and Skulls, 1:00pm-2:00pm

🎣Looking for some summer fun? Call the park office to reserve fishing poles for the day!

🥾The Rec Hall has park staff present on Thursday through Saturday from 10am till 4pm.

👋Whether you're visiting Darien Lakes State Park this upcoming weekend or in the future, here's what you need to know:

🛶New to this park is a destination playground near the beach and an ADA accessible kayak launch on Harlow Lake!

⛺The park has a total of 154 campsites, 141 with electricity and 13 primitive sites without. These are all rented through ReserveAmerica.com and are rented from May through October.

⛳There is an 18-hole disc golf course in the park that is open year-round.

🐟Also available during the summer: heated public restrooms and showers, a beach, playgrounds, fishing, hiking, picnic areas and a rustic bridge over the lake channel to Picnic Island.

🌳This summer in Darien Lakes State Park, bring the family for “Forest Buddies”, a program designed for kids 3-8, explore the famed grasslands of the park for butterflies, birds and flowers, take a hike along the Shotgun Ridge Trail, and enjoy free fishing day at Harlow Lake!

🫠Due to the expected heat, new swimming hours are 10am to 7pm.

🌊Darien Lakes State Park swimming season has begun!

🛟Swimming is permitted only where lifeguards are present.

⏰Swimming hours are 11am to 6:45pm daily, if open.

💦The water is tested every week to ensure the safety of swimmers.
