ing family member or friend can find unbiased guidance and information. Wellness classes are also available on managing chronic conditions and falls prevention. Milestones is part of the LifeLong Links aging and disability resource network supplying links to local providers and helping Iowans evaluate their needs and make early decisions about long-term supports.

Milestones offices are closed on Monday September 7th in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Leclaire Caregiver Support group will meet on Monday September 14 at the same starting time: 10:30 at Our Lady of the River in Leclaire (28200 26th St Pl)

Davenport Caregiver Support Group will NOT meet in September. Next session will be October 12th with guest Speakers from St Croix Hospice starting at 10:30 in our Davenport Office. (4440 N. Brady Street)

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Administration (FNA) directed Iowa HHS to return to federal SNAP guidelines, meaning all food items eligible before January 1, 2026, are allowed again. Stores have been instructed to make these changes as soon as possible.

Because the SUN Bucks program was already underway when this update took effect, foods that were previously eligible before the waiver will be allowed under SUN Bucks.
