The Cal Aggie Alumni Association is the one Aggie network that is home to all of UC Davis' 250,000-plus alumni around the world and allows all Aggies to connect with their alma mater. We provide a continued connection beyond our time at UC Davis for all military-affiliated alumni including:Veterans/Prior Service; Active Duty; Reserves; National Guard; ROTC; Spouses/Partners; Dependents/Children; F

amily; and Supporters. We also seek to remain connected to the families of our Gold Star Aggies for which our campus Memorial Union stands. Current students and their families can begin their Alumni Connection through the Student Alumni Association (SAA) and Parent & Family Association.

Last week it became a place for the kind of deep thought reflected in its name as dozens gathered for the annual UC Davis Memorial Day Ceremony, honoring Gold Star Aggies who died in military service to the United States...

"Emma Malonelord readily admits that she doesn’t look like the stereotypical Army soldier. At 5-foot-3, she danced ballet in school and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority at UC Davis.

“I am by no means somebody you would look at and say she’s killing the game in the military,” she said. “But I knew going in that I had more than enough brains to [pull it off].”"

Featured in a new animated series, Emma Malonelord attended UC Davis before enlisting in the U.S. Army.
