On July 25, 2026 the Terrell County Sheriff's Department hosted our back to school supply give away. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make our Horsepower & Heroes Back-to-School Giveaway a success!

To the families and parents who brought your children out, thank you for spending the day with us. Seeing the smiles on our students' faces as they prepared for a new school year made this event special.

To our sponsors, thank you for believing in our vision and investing in the children of Terrell County. Your support helped make this event possible.

To our vendors, thank you for serving our community with kindness and outstanding customer service. You added so much to the day's excitement.

To every car club and bike owner that participated, thank you for bringing your vehicles, positive energy, and community spirit. You helped create an experience our children and families will remember for years to come.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and supported this event in any way. Your community pride remind us that when we work together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our children.

Join us in giving our students a great start to the new school year!

The Terrell County School System is inviting local businesses, churches, organizations, retired educators, and community members to help welcome students on the first day of school, Monday, August 3, 2026.

Community partners will greet and encourage students during morning arrival. Participants should report to their selected school by 7:00 a.m.
