Happy Alumni weekend Greenwave!
Sheriff Vernon Jessie and the Terrell County Sheriff’s Department staff would like to wish all of our alumni a happy and safe alumni weekend. We are proud to celebrate with you and honor the legacy of our city.

Before you head out to tailgate Saturday, we invite you to bring your family to join us for an Easter Egg Hunt behind the courthouse. This event is made possible through our partnership with Rev. Andrews and the Raines Baptist Church family, we would love to see you there!

Stay safe don’t drink and drive or drive after drinking. We want everyone to have a great time, but more importantly, we want everyone to make it home. Look out for your friends and family, don’t let them get behind a wheel impaired. We don’t want to see any of our alumni or community members hurt when this can be avoided by making smart choices.

Follow the rules as you enjoy the weekend festivities remember to carry yourselves in a respectful and responsible manner, your behavior impacts our ability to have future community events.
