By UNANIMOUS RATIFICATION, Merit Republicans is pleased to announce its endorsements of Judge Steve Abshire for the General Division of the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court and Judge Nicholas Sylvain for Montgomery County Juvenile Court.

The Merit Republicans Board has unanimously adopted an Interim Endorsement Policy and, under that policy, unanimously endorsed Judge Steven Abshire and Judge Nicholas Sylvain for the November General Election.

But at Merit Republicans, a Board vote alone does not make an endorsement official, because at Merit, our members have the final say.

Both endorsements are now before our membership for ratification.

It was truly an honor to represent Judge Michele Henne at the Brookville Community Picnic and spend the day meeting so many wonderful families, neighbors, and friends from our community.

The best part wasn't the campaign but the conversations. Hearing what matters most to people, watching kids proudly wear their campaign stickers, sharing laughs, and seeing firsthand how much our community values fairness, integrity, and the rule of law reminded me exactly why local elections matter.

Judge Henne has dedicated her career to serving our community with fairness, professionalism, and integrity. I'm proud to support her and grateful for the opportunity to help keep an outstanding judge on the bench.

Brookville, thank you for such a warm welcome. We're just getting started, and I can't wait to see everyone out on the campaign trail!
