Rhea County Government

Rhea County Government Welcome to Rhea County! Rhea County consists of three major cities: Dayton, Spring City, and Graysville.

Our unincorporated communities include Evensville, Frazier, Grandview, and Old Washington.

We know how much the trees on our courthouse lawn have meant to this community—they’ve been part of so many memories, moments, and everyday views. 🌳

Over the past few days, a few trees were carefully removed as part of an effort to maintain the safety and long-term health of the space. We understand it’s not easy to see such a familiar part of the landscape change.

We’re happy to share that this is only the beginning of a new chapter. New trees will be planted soon, bringing fresh growth and beauty back to the lawn for everyone to enjoy for years to come. 💚

Thank you for your understanding.
