A Special Wish Foundation of Southwest Ohio Granting Special Wishes to local children in the Dayton & Cincinnati, OH areas. The mission of A Special Wish Foundation, Inc.

is to grant the wish of a child or adolescent (birth through age 20) who has been diagnosed by a physician with a life-threatening disorder. Since 1983, the Dayton Chapter of A Special Wish Foundation, Inc. has granted over 1,750 wishes to children living in the Dayton Region. We are thankful to the many Dayton area companies, organizations, individuals and volunteers for their generous donations

and support. As of January 2022, we now serve Southwest Ohio which includes Mercer, Auglaize, Shleby, Darke, Miami, Champaign, Clark, Preble, Montgomery, Greene, Butler, Warren, Clinton, Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, Highland, Adams, Scioto, and Pike counties.

Did you know one of the largest all-Pontiac shows in the country happens right here in the Dayton area? 🏁

The Trans Am Nationals brings Pontiac and Trans Am enthusiasts from across the country and even around the world to Fairborn. Some travel thousands of miles, and some even ship their cars internationally just to be part of the show!

And it’s happening THIS WEEKEND at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Fairborn!

Even better, proceeds from the event benefit A Special Wish Foundation and help us grant wishes to local children battling life-threatening illnesses. 💙

Dinosaurs, Dragons, and… MrBeast?!

With a BIG love for dinosaurs (and dragons too!), Sebastian’s Special Wish recently came true! Sebastian and his family explored Dinosaur World, EPIC Universe, and even had some Disney World magic along the way.

While staying at Give Kids The World, Sebastian and his family even got a surprise visit from MrBeast before he opened Magic Kingdom early just for Wish Families!

Beyond all the fun and adventure, the trip gave Sebastian’s family something even more meaningful. His parents shared, “It was the first time in a long time that we were able to simply relax as a family and not have to worry about anything.”

Today, we had the joy of celebrating a very special milestone: Wish Kid Bradley’s 30th birthday!

Back in 2005, A Special Wish Foundation granted Bradley’s Special Wish to visit Kiawah Island. Now, more than 20 years later, Bradley is celebrating his birthday by giving back to the organization that helped make his wish come true. In lieu of gifts, he’s asking friends and family to make a donation to A Special Wish Foundation so that more local children can experience the joy of having their own Special Wish granted.

Bradley, it was an honor to celebrate 30 with you today. Seeing a Wish Kid grow up and choose to pay that kindness forward is a beautiful reminder that the impact of a wish can last a lifetime.

Kelley's connection to A Special Wish Foundation is deeply personal. After battling leukemia, she was granted a Special Wish in 2004 for a shopping spree.

Over 20 years later, she's helping us share the power of a Special Wish and the hope it brings to children and families facing life-threatening illnesses.

Nora’s Special Wish came true!! ✨

The trip began with a surprise visit from MrBeast at Give Kids The World, and that was just the start of a week filled with adventure! Nora explored Central Florida’s theme parks and experienced Magic Kingdom opening early just for the wish families.

Nora’s mom reflected, “This trip allowed us to truly celebrate all that we had overcome as a family and Nora being in remission!”

When a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, the entire family is affected. Creating joyful moments they can carry with them long after the trip is why wishes like Nora’s matter so much. 💙

For years, Shelby has watched YouTube creators Sam and Colby explore haunted places on YouTube, imagining what it would be like to join them. Last month, her Wish became reality!

As part of MrBeast's I Helped 100 Kids Fight Cancer project, Shelby traveled to Las Vegas for the experience of a lifetime: ghost hunting through Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum alongside her favorite creators.

It wasn't just the chance to meet her heroes. Shelby got to spend time with Sam and Colby, explore the museum with them, hear their stories, and create memories she'll never forget. The experience carried even more meaning because Colby has faced a cancer journey of his own, giving the two a unique connection.

As Shelby's mom shared, "The best part was getting to see my child meet some of her favorite people! She genuinely loves watching Sam and Colby. This was a dream come true for her!"

We're also incredibly grateful to the team at Palms Casino Resort, who went above and beyond throughout Shelby's stay, decorating her room and surprising her family with thoughtful touches that made the entire trip feel unforgettable.

There is so much more to Jonah's Special Wish than what could fit into a few seconds on screen.

We were honored to be invited to partner with MrBeast and Give Kids The World to help make Jonah's Special Wish come true. While millions saw a glimpse of his adventure in MrBeast's newest video (link in comments!), his family's words remind us what a Wish truly means.

"Our family's journey through childhood cancer was filled with challenges we never imagined we'd face. After years of treatments, uncertainty, and hope, seeing our son overcome a life-threatening disease was nothing short of a miracle. Thanks to A Special Wish Foundation and Give Kids the World, we were given more than a vacation. We were given a chance to simply be a family again.

The opportunity to experience this incredible journey through a partnership with MrBeast made it even more meaningful. It was inspiring to see someone use their platform to bring hope and happiness to families like ours. The generosity, kindness, and compassion shown by everyone involved reminded us that even after the hardest battles, there is still so much light in the world.

These organizations didn't just grant Jonah's wish.
