The Level 1 Evacuation Warning for the Lyons Ferry Marina has been lifted. Residents may resume normal activities. Please remain aware of changing conditions and continue to monitor official sources for any additional emergency information.

Level 1 “READY” Fire Evacuation - Columbia County Emergency Management has issued a Level 1 “READY” evacuation notice for the Lyons Ferry Marina. There is no immediate danger, but be aware of the nearby threats and prepare now in case evacuation is needed. Pack a Go Bag. Plan evacuation routes. Satay alert for updates. This is a precautionary alert. Please do not call 911 unless you have an emergency.

ADVISORY NOTICE ELEVATED TO LEVEL 1 EVACUATION – BE READY

Walla Walla, WA – Effective immediately the advisory notice for the Klicker Mountain area north toward Biscuit Ridge and east toward the Walla Walla / Columbia County border has been elevated to a Level 1 “Be Ready” evacuation area. The area includes portions of Klicker Mountain and Biscuit Ridge areas and is generally bounded by the surrounding ridge lines, roads, and drainages shown on the map. This is being done out of an abundance of caution in relation to the Paradise Fire given the restricted access and terrain of the area. Residents in this area are asked to continue yielding the right-of-way to emergency equipment, avoid parking vehicles, trailers, or equipment on roadsides.
