I have a question for all the traditional ABA practices out there.
Why are preferred activities being restricted?
Why is it so important to deny access to these things that regulate?
What if someone told you you couldn’t use your phone anymore, or that you could only use it for five minutes and then you had to do a whole bunch of stuff that you didn’t want to do or that was even painful for you. Only then could you use it for another five minutes.
Think about that for a minute. Cooperation is more important than compliance. Trust and collaboration creates positive behavior change not compliance.
Do better ABA, do better.
