Floridians are working harder than ever during an affordability crisis but eliminating property taxes for homeowners won’t solve the problem. Shifting costs onto small businesses and renters through new taxes or fees means we all pay more for our local services. We need practical solutions like capping insurance rate hikes and taxing insurance corporations’ excess profits that lower costs for all working families and seniors.
