Our quarterly meeting is this Friday, January 23 @ 7pm at the Delanco Township Municipal Building located at 770 Coopertown Rd. Feel free to attend as a current backyard hen owner, a resident with any questions or interested in owning backyard hens.

Happy New Year! Friendly reminder that Backyard Hen License Renewals are being sent out via mail and are due no later than March 1. The fee is $25. The form can also be found on the townships website (link below).
We’d also love more residents to get involved and informed, so we invite you to “like/follow” our page and attend the meetings. Our quarterly meeting is in the process of being scheduled and will be open for the public to attend if you are interested in becoming a backyard hen owner in Delanco or if you simply have any questions on the process. Keep alert when you are collecting eggs. This guy was not at all friendly.
Chickens were not harmed. Snake has been relocated and Snake B Gone has been spread around the coop. Hopefully we will not have any more visitors.

It is that time of year, they are coming back. Time to put out whatever you use for snake repellent. This little guy isnt going to do much but it is likely some of her bigger buddies are waking up too.
