Tomorrow's the big day in DeMotte. Come out to watch the parade...my float is number 36. And then head to the Touch of Dutch Festival to chat at the Republican Booth! Try some Dutch foods while there...olie bolen, stroop waffles, poffertijes, etc.

New York Democrats are pushing a “house flipping tax,” and Seattle is considering similar ideas. Instead of encouraging housing development, they’re making it more expensive to invest, renovate, and improve neighborhoods.

These policies don’t stay on the coasts. Indiana Democrats have a record of supporting higher taxes, more regulation and bigger government. Hoosiers should pay attention.

We don’t fix a housing shortage by punishing investment. We fix it by protecting property rights, cutting red tape and letting the free market work. As your next State Senator, I’ll fight to keep these failed policies out of Indiana and stand for more freedom, opportunity and affordable housing.
