Our correctional officers work behind the scenes every day with strength, professionalism, and dedication to keep our community safe. Their role is not easy, and it often goes unseen—but it never goes unappreciated.

We are truly overwhelmed with gratitude after last night’s K9 benefit and auction.

To everyone who donated, showed up, bid, volunteered, and supported us in any way—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The kindness and generosity our communities continue to show never goes unnoticed, and last night was a perfect example of that.

Because of you, we are able to move forward in strengthening our K9 program and continuing to serve and protect our community in the best way possible. This isn’t something we could do alone—it takes people like you who care, who show up, and who give so selflessly.

We are beyond proud and thankful to be part of such incredible communities.

We’re getting close to our K-9 benefit auction next Saturday and are still in need of some more items!

If you’ve been thinking about donating, now is the perfect time. Gift baskets, services, merchandise, or unique items of any kind all help make the auction exciting and successful. Your support truly makes a difference and helps us put on a great event for the community.

We’ve received reports of individuals contacting residents while posing as members of law enforcement, claiming payment is owed for missing federal jury duty. These calls are not legitimate.

We are also seeing text messages being sent that claim to be a “final notice” regarding unpaid traffic violations or tolls, often including links or QR codes requesting immediate payment. These messages are not from our office or the courts.

Please remember:
• Our office will never call or text you to demand payment
• We do not collect fines through links, QR codes, gift cards, or over the phone
• Official court matters are handled through proper legal channels—not urgent messages demanding immediate action

If you receive a call or text like this, do not click links or provide personal or financial information.
