An 8-year-old nonverbal boy with autism was safely rescued after going missing from his Georgia home on March 24, sparking a desperate community search. Knowing his attraction to water, officers quickly focused on nearby areas and located him struggling in a lake, clinging to a branch. An officer and a civilian rushed into the cold water and brought him to safety. The child was reunited with his family and treated for hypothermia, thankfully avoiding serious harm. 🙏
