It is with heavy hearts that we share a sad piece of news. The Dallas Firefighter that was critically injured earlier this evening after falling from the Spur 408 bridge over I-20 in Dallas has passed away. Please keep the firefighter's family along with Dallas Fire-Rescue in your thoughts and prayers.

Stanley Wilson, who had been with Dallas Fire for 28 years, died after becoming trapped in the building while fighting the intense blaze.

Denton firefighter Michael Bell died Sunday evening after a struggle with a rare form of brain cancer.
