Walk-Off Seals Win For Bombers Against US Military WarDogs Denver.

A walk-off left US Military WarDogs Denver on the wrong end of a 12-11 defeat to Bombers on Sunday. Bombers were down 11-10 in the bottom of the eighth inning when an error scored two runs for Bombers.

US Military WarDogs Denver lost despite out-hitting Bombers 15 to 3.

US Military WarDogs Denver scored six runs in the seventh inning and their bats were led by Ryan Arsenault, Matthew Martz, Logan Cayon, Zach Schadewald, and Casey Nottingham, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Ben Frey was on the mound for US Military WarDogs Denver. Frey surrendered five runs on one hit over five and a third innings, striking out 13.

Arsenault and Christian Rumsey entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and two-thirds innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Wrecks Captures Lead Early To Defeat US Military WarDogs Denver.

US Military WarDogs Denver fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-3 loss.

The US Military WarDogs Denver struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Wrecks, giving up nine runs.

Wrecks got things started in the first inning when Logan Cayon induced Ford to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
Wrecks scored four runs in the second inning. The big inning for Wrecks came thanks to singles by Moore and Mellvain and a walk by Sawaya.

US Military WarDogs Denver launched one home run on the day. Frey went for the long ball in the sixth inning.

TJ Howton went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead US Military WarDogs Denver in hits. US Military WarDogs Denver didn't commit a single error in the field. Matthew Martz had the most chances in the field with seven.

Here is a game recap of this past weekends game against the Outlaws.

Christian Rumsey was dialed in at the plate on Sunday, tallying four hits and leading US Military WarDogs Denver to a 22-2 win over Outlaws. Rumsey singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.

US Military WarDogs Denver fired up the offense in the first inning, when Rumsey singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

US Military WarDogs Denver scored 11 runs in the sixth inning. Ryan Ronneburg, Ryan Friend, Jarrett Lee, Ryan Arsenault, Jose Rojas, and Rumsey each drove in runs during the inning.

Todd Nieuwenhuis got the start for US Military WarDogs Denver. The pitcher went six innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out ten and walking one.

Here is a recap to WarDogs Denver's first game this weekend vs the Warriors.

The Warriors started the contest by scoring one run on a bases loaded double play, turned by Jarret Lee and Josh Combs.

US Military WarDogs Denver tied the game and then captured the lead in the second inning on Matthew Martz's sac fly to make it 2-1.

In the third, the Warriors were able to score two runs on a couple hits to take the lead 3-2.

The Warriors were able to scratch 3 more runs through the next four frames which made the score 6-2 leading to the bottom half of the 7th.

In the bottom half, the WarDogs Denver answered when Todd Nieuwenhuis singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

The Warriors were able to hold off the WarDogs the rest of the way with the final score being Warriors 7 and the US Military WarDogs Denver 4.

WarDogs Notes:
Logan Cayon started the game for US Military WarDogs Denver. Cayon went three innings, allowing one run on zero hits and striking out four.
