Hey everyone, just a heads up. I have made the somewhat difficult decision to cancel gamenight for the first time in our 7 year history.
As much as I wanted to argue that we're a small group, that our demographics are people least affected, that the venues we choose are small and not crowded, or any of a half dozen other excuses, the fact is I feel like having a public gameday right now would be fairly irresponsible. As such, the Wednesday Gamenight group won't meet this Wednesday, March 18 or next week, March 25th. Beyond that I will be closely following the situation here in Denver and following the guidance of local officials, the CDC, and the WHO.
But just because we aren't meeting publicly to play games doesn't mean we can't all play games separately. So if you have roommates or family members or friends that you'll still be spending time with, by all means, bust out a game and find a little escape from everything happening right now. And if you do, take pictures and share them here, we can have a virtual gamenight!
Additionally, I will be streaming a boar game play aww with a couple of people from gamenight on our twitch channel, twitch.tv/MHGameGuys if you want to simulate the classic gamenight move of drinking a beer and vaguely standing over someone's shoulder while they play!
