BB Jackpot Rules:
-Players must submit a complete claim form to Runnin' Good Poker prior to any payouts. Form will be available from dealer.
-Payouts will be made via check at a later date than the date the jackpot is hit, usually within one week, but extenuating circumstances could delay payment (i.e. cancellation due to venue closure, player doesn't show up to any venue to collect). Players may elect delivery by US Mail to expedite payment.
-both hole cards must be played by all players (i.e. 4 of a kind not eligible unless player has "pocket pair")
-hand must be played until showdown
-Payout will be determined using a proprietary formula created by Runnin' Good Poker. All determinations made regarding payout are final.
-When the payout exceeds $599, winner must provide Government-issued photo ID and tax ID # to Runnin' Good Poker for the purpose of completing any and all necessary tax documents

Specific rules (effective 1/26/15):
1) Regarding signups/bonus chips…
a) EACH PLAYER MUST SIGNUP IN PERSON-there is no longer an option to signup other players, regardless of their relationship to you. b) SEAT CARDS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN TO PLAYERS WHO ARE PRESENT AT THE VENUE. c) BONUS CHIPS will only be given to players who signup AND REMAIN PRESENT AT THE VENUE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO GAME START TIME. If you signup and leave the venue, you will lose your place in line, but you may still receive a bonus chip if you return at least 30 minutes prior to start time.
2) Regarding the rule of "if everybody checks on the river, then everybody shows…"
a) This rule is being eliminated!!! (Loud cheers from the crowd! ;-))
b) The new rule will follow what many casinos do…when everybody checks on the river, the order in which players must reveal their hand will move clockwise from the dealer button. If a player reveals a hand higher than yours, you may immediately muck your hand. Along with this change comes the responsibility for each player to be paying attention to their position relative to the button so as to prevent constant reminding from the dealer/other players. Habitual slow-rollers (those who delay showing their hand when it is required) will receive one warning, followed by a one-hand penalty after the 2nd offense, and a one-round penalty after a 3rd offense. Continuation of slow-rolling after the 3rd offense could result in suspension/ejection from RGP games and events.
