🔌 Community Update – Power Restoration & Community Center Opening

Power is beginning to come back on in areas around Gilpin County.

The Gilpin County Community Center will open at 1:00 PM today.

If you still need to charge devices, you are welcome to use the Community Center. The temporary charging center will close at noon, and charging will transition to the Community Center once it opens.

Thank you for your patience as crews continue working to restore power across the county. Please continue to stay safe and watch for additional updates. 🔌

Due to continuing power outages, downed trees, and expected high winds, non-essential Gilpin County facilities will remain closed on Friday, March 13.

This includes:

- Transfer Station
- Senior Lunch
- Community Center

Essential and safety-sensitive operations will continue. Thank you for your patience as we prioritize the safety of residents and staff. Please stay safe.
