Colorado Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel The Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel oversees the admissions, registration and regulation for the practice of law in Colorado.

Attorney Regulation Counsel serves at the pleasure of the Colorado Supreme Court. The Supreme Court Advisory Committee assists the Court by reviewing the productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of the attorney regulation system, including Attorney Regulation Counsel. The Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel works with seven other permanent Supreme Court committees in regulating the practice of

law in Colorado. Attorney Regulation Counsel oversees the Office of Attorney Admissions, Office of Attorney Registration and Continuing Legal and Judicial Education, and the Office of Attorney Regulation. Sixty-four full-time employees work in these offices.

Recently, the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel has received calls alleging a lawyer has engaged in misconduct. Upon further investigation, we have determined the lawyer’s identity was used as part of a fraud, unbeknownst to the lawyer. Read up on this latest scam here:
