We want to enc
ourage all YEP-Denver members to share information through our newsletters, Facebook, and LinkedIn. We want to build a community of education professionals in Denver where members can feel comfortable sharing great ideas, events, job opportunities, and discussions. We want to promote this positive focus by encouraging respectful and thoughtful conversations that are void of inflammatory or offensive language that is demeaning to others. We also want to keep the conversation focused on education-related issues pertaining to the Denver community. Please know that we actively moderate our social media outlets and may remove or ask you to change things you post or comment on for the following reasons:
• If a post or comment is vulgar, offensive, or violent in nature
• If a post does not pertain education-related issues
• If a job posting is from outside of Denver. Note: We truly appreciate and understand the fact that YEP-Denver members may be actively seeking employment, which includes outside of Denver. We do, however, want to do our best to support the Denver education community as best we can, and that means keeping our job postings to inside Denver. This is not to say we do not encourage postings of articles or other meaningful items that are not specific to Denver, but we do encourage meaningful comparisons. As stated above, we want all YEP-Denver members to have a voice through our various social media outlets. We encourage you to post information on Facebook and LinkedIn as yourself, and to invite as many people as possible to join conversations. If you would like to have something posted or included in our newsletter on behalf of YEP-Denver, please email [email protected] to submit a possible posting. Keep in mind that we are a bi-partisan group, and thus will not post or advertise anything on behalf of certain political parties. We do encourage meaningful public discourse and will post varying points of view on certain issues.
