Bridge House's Navigation Center opened its doors a year ago to provide low-barrier support, connection, and hope for adults experiencing homelessness in the Tri-Cities. Since then, hundreds of individuals have accessed meals, showers, case management, housing navigation, and pathways forward.

Just a year after opening, Bridge House / Ready to Work program in Englewood was proud to be recognized by the as its Community Organization of the Year during its annual business awards banquet.

Ready to Work's 50-bed facility was actualized in part through the Tri-Cities Homeless Action Plan, the program brings together paid employment, sober living, and individualized case management to help participants move from homelessness toward long-term stability and independence.

Since opening on May 15 of last year, we're so proud of the nearly 100 program participants who chose to envision a different future and the seven graduates (and counting).

We're grateful for Bridge House's partnership with the City of Centennial Government, a platinum sponsor of Bridge House, which reflects a shared commitment to helping individuals move from homelessness toward long-term stability.

Through close collaboration with Centennial’s Homeless Services Coordinator, we’re able to better connect community members to employment opportunities, housing resources, and supportive services that create lasting change.

Together, we are strengthening pathways from homelessness to independence — and building a stronger community in the process.

Today we’re holding space for the many ways motherhood shows up at Bridge House.

For the moms showing up to work each day—supporting others while continuing their own journey.
For the moms rebuilding relationships, one call, one visit, one step at a time.
For the moms working toward stability, toward reunification, toward something better.

We see your strength. We see your effort. We see your love. We see you.

Happy Mother’s Day 💚

This Mother's Day, and every day, your Bridge House Brownies purchases and gifts do more than celebrate those you love. It supports a mom working her way back to her children.

After her marriage ended, her mother passed, and alcohol took hold, Ashley made the hardest decision of her life—leaving her young children in safe hands to find a way forward.

With no money and one bus ride between her and something better, she arrived at Bridge House’s Navigation Center in Englewood. Within a week, she was on her way to the Ready to Work program in Boulder.

Six months later, she’s the lead baker at Bridge House Brownies.

This Mother’s Day, Ashley is baking brownies for other moms while rebuilding her own life. She now sees her 11-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son every week, traveling 4.5 hours roundtrip to be with them.

“It’s the best part of my week—and worth every minute.”

When asked about baking for other moms this Mother’s Day, she smiled, “We all love chocolate. Being able to bake for other moms is special."

feels a little different around here 💚

Because for a lot of folks in our Ready to Work program, laughter isn’t something that came easy not too long ago. When you’re navigating homelessness, it’s hard to find moments of joy.

But then something shifts.
A steady job.
A place to call home.
People in your corner.

And slowly… the laughter comes back.

Not the forced kind—the real kind. The kind that shows up in common space over a game, on crew sites, around dinner tables, and in conversations about what’s next.

Today, we’re celebrating those moments. The smiles that return. The laughter that sticks. The lives being rebuilt, one day (and one laugh) at a time.

Because joy is part of the journey, too.
