Last week we turned a taco bar into a tiny universe of shared ownership dreams 🌮✨

Big love to everyone who came out to our co-op happy hour at Locales Taco & Tequila Bar! The room was full of exactly the kind of conversations we like to hear: the co-op curious and the co-op obsessed coming together over chips, salsa, and tequila-fueled optimism to dream up how we can reimagine housing.🍹

Huge gratitude to Locales for hosting us and to our friends at Center for Community Wealth for teaming up with us to expand the conversation into worker cooperatives too.

Not sure if winter ever really happened this year, but it is definitely spring! The peach tree is blooming in front of Chrysalis Cooperative in Boulder! All of houses maintain beautiful productive gardens. Residents vote to spend collective funds on seeds and trees and work together to plant, w**d, harvest, and enjoy the benefit of fresh produce and happy pollinators. Sounds like fun? Living in a housing co-op means spending less money on rent, building more community, and keeping power in the hands of residents. This radical model is popping up all over Denver and Boulder - and especially on Cap Hill! Join us on Thursday April 23 at Locales Taco & Tequila Bar for a casual opportunity to chat with current residents, alumni, and anyone who is even a little bit "co-op curious." We'll have complimentary chips & salsa, enjoy Locales drink specials, maybe play some pool, and give away fun co-op prizes! Everyone is welcome to pop by anytime 6:30-10:30!
