It was a high-flying day of good times and community-building as we joined the Hillsborough County Department of Aging Services for the “2026 Brain & Body Challenge!" As an event sponsor, InnovAge enjoyed the showdown of superheroes versus super villains, with fun mental and physical challenges, a high-energy dance challenge, and plenty of laughs and team spirit! InnovAge proudly supports the great work of Aging Services in their mission to enhance the lives of older adults throughout Hillsborough County, FL.

InnovAge PACE came out to support military veterans with one of our own – Saladin El Florence, a proud veteran and participant at our Crenshaw Center.

Saladin joined InnovAge outreach specialist Cassandra Soto for “Steps for Vets – Run, Walk, Roll,” U.S. VETS’ annual peer-to-peer fundraising event to support the mission of ending veteran homelessness in the U.S. Saladin and Cassandra represented InnovAge PACE during an energizing day in Inglewood, CA, where the community came together to show solidarity and make a positive impact.

With hundreds of U.S. veterans as participants at our centers, InnovAge PACE is honored to serve the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. That’s why it’s especially meaningful for us to support the inspiring work of U.S. VETS!

As we come to the end of June, we’re sharing a quick look back at the Juneteenth Community Picnic where we were proud to be a sponsor! The InnovAge San Bernardino team, led by Strategic Accounts Manager Shon Bowles, joined the fun at the Terramor Community Sundrop Park in Corona, CA. The celebration included live entertainment, face-painting, games, food, and activities for all ages. Thanks to the Juneteenth Committee of the Terramor Community Association for inviting us to a joyful, festive afternoon of neighbors gathering, learning, and celebrating the power of community!

When our community partners send out the call, we answer it! InnovAge Crenshaw is proud to support the important work of Meals on Wheels West. Cassandra Soto, Outreach Specialist, and Kellyann Roberts, Enrollment Representative, were busy during the month of June fulfilling 42 meal delivery routes in the Santa Monica, CA area.

They were onsite at Meals on Wheels West to help with coordination, and distributed food bags to volunteers delivering meals to seniors in their homes. Working side-by-side with Kaylee Hawkins, the organization’s Executive Director, Cassandra and Kellyann ensured that operations ran smoothly with the goal of nourishing and enriching the lives of homebound seniors.

InnovAge Virginia PACE - Roanoke Valley proudly sponsored the Grass and Grill event at Sinkland Farms in Christiansburg, VA, on June 18. The annual event benefitted the New River Valley Agency on Aging, raising funds for their many services, including nutrition outreach and transportation.

Mary Beth Alford, Outreach Specialist, had the opportunity to speak about how InnovAge PACE services align closely with the mission of the NRVAOA.

🎉 🥳 A Roaring good time at InnovAge Pennypack in Philadelphia! Our annual Prom was a day of fashion and fun as the Center was transported back to the Roaring 20s. Staff and participants enjoyed live music, dancing, and the crowning of a new king and queen.

Our Director, Rozena Blocker, and the whole Pennypack team showed up dressed to impress. Our Recreation specialists received high praise from a participant who was so inspired, she was moved to tears. And it was wonderful to see one of our drivers keep his promise and dress up as the " date" of one of our participants, with corsage in hand.

Partnership in action! Genna Jordan of InnovAge Tampa recently visited with the Metropolitan Ministries Pasco team to discuss opportunities to collaborate and further expand the reach of InnovAge.

We also welcomed Tampa Hope/Catholic Charities for a tour of our Tampa Center. Genna has been working with this charitable organization to provide additional resources, supporting their efforts to help homeless members of our community.

In Tampa, and at our other Centers across the nation, InnovAge is always out and about, building strong relationships and advocating for seniors in the communities we’re proud to serve!

Where will InnovAge PACE show up next? In Tampa, our team has been out in the community these past few weeks, sharing resources, supporting our partners, and spreading the word about the importance of providing quality senior care.

Tampa team member Genna Jordan was on the scene at TGH Rehabilitation Hospital to participate in the Brain Injury and Stroke Education Resource Fair. The event brought together community resource providers, educational vendors, health care professionals, and caregivers, with a focus on recovery, education, and wellness.

Genna and Julie Spencer also enjoyed paying a visit to Feeding Tampa Bay. InnovAge Tampa partners with this organization to support their important work in connecting our neighbors to the resources they need to thrive.

In Tampa, and at our other Centers across the nation, InnovAge is always out and about, building strong relationships in the communities we’re proud to serve!

Our team at InnovAge Florida PACE - Tampa was up early and “walking on sunshine” in celebration of the important work of Senior Connection Center! At the Rise & Shine Inspiration Breakfast and Award Ceremony, we joined our community for an annual event that supports Senior Connection Center’s impactful efforts to help seniors access essentials like housing, healthcare, and food in times of hardship.

InnovAge PACE shares the mission of stepping in when seniors need us most, ensuring they can live safely with dignity. It’s a privilege for us to work closely with this wonderful organization – and we enjoyed a morning of delicious food, great company, and a moving celebration of those who are improving the lives of our area seniors!
