NWS Boulder Region:
There's a Freeze Warning that'll be in affect for all of northeastern/eastern Colorado from 8 pm this evening (April 17th) until 8 am tomorrow morning.If not drained or protected, damage to above ground irrigation lines will be likely. A hard freeze could kill sensitive vegetation and damage fruit trees. In addition there is a Winter Weather Advisory for the Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range, Indian Peaks, the southern Front Range Foothills, Rabbit Ears Pass, Rocky Mountain National Park, & the Medicine Bow Range. Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 & 9 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. In affect until 5 pm this evening. Roads will become slippery in spots, especially through mountain passes. Use caution when traveling. The hazardous conditions will impact this mornings commute.
