Drake University's VIP program is a 24/7 confidential hotline for dating abuse and sexual violence. The Violence Intervention Partners (VIP) operate a student-run sexual assault and dating violence hotline. These students are state-certified victim advocates. They are a confidential resource for Drake Students. Services in which advocates will be able to assist will include, but are not limited to

,

•24 hour phone support-call or text
•provide an opportunity to process and talk about something that has happened
•provide information and resources on and off-campus
•provide accompaniment for medical exams
•assistance with the development of a “safety plan”
