Tonight, I’m feeling so grateful.
Five months ago, this campaign launched with a belief that District 33 deserved leadership rooted in community, compassion, and showing up for people. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of meeting neighbors from every corner of the district, hearing stories, learning from life experiences, and building relationships that will stay with me long after this election.
While this wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, I’m incredibly proud of what we built together. This campaign was powered by people who gave their time, opened their homes, shared our message, donated what they could, knocked doors, offered encouragement, and believed in the idea that politics can still be about people.
To every person who supported me: thank you.
And this is not the last you’ll hear from me. I care deeply about this community, and that commitment does not begin or end with an election result. I’m excited to continue finding ways to serve, advocate, organize, and stay engaged with the people and neighborhoods that made this experience so meaningful.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for this incredible journey.
