Amy Erickson- Detroit Lakes School Board My name is Amy Erickson, and I'm a candidate for school board in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

On November 8th, 2016, I was elected to the Detroit Lakes, MN School Board. I believe that a quality public education, available to all, is what makes our country great, and I want to be a part of the process. I believe that parents, guardians, schools and our community must work together to provide our next generation with the best education possible, and that I can help facilitate that cooperati

on. I love our schools, and have deep faith in the transformative powers of education. I've spent a lot of time in our schools as a parent and volunteer, and believe that open communication and compromise are the keys to strengthening the bonds between our schools and our community.
