Yesterday we went around different neighborhoods passing out flyers to spread the word about our center. We also visited Fairlane Nursing Home to ask if we could come do activities with their residents. It was a good day of networking building connections and finding new ways to serve our community

Today we searched for puzzles and activities to keep our participants engaged, worked on creating business plans, and continued building ideas for the future. We also networked and prepared for the Bro Networking Program this Saturday at Wayne State. Another productive day of learning, planning, and growing together at A.R.W. Adult Day Center!

Today was all about building real world skills. Our youth created monthly budgets, organized monthly calendars, worked on spreadsheets, and continued developing their PowerPoint presentations. We also had a special visit from a Man of Many Talents who captured the day from both the ground and the sky with drone footage of our building and everyone hard at work.

Today our team worked together to make signs reminding everyone not to sit on the ledge outside our building while waiting at the bus stop. We also started creating PowerPoint presentations to help share our business, our mission, and the impact we’re making. Every day we’re building new skills while finding ways to improve and grow ARW together!
