Moffat County is under a Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service (NOAA), effective from 1 PM to 7 PM MDT Thursday. Open burning is not allowed due to winds reaching 10-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph and low humidity levels.

Hooray! Summer is here and so are the DINOSAURS! Join us as we get ready to kick-off our DINO-MITE Summer Reading Program "Unearth a Story" at this week's Story Time all about... you guessed it...DINOSAURS!

Don't forget our Kick-Off Carnival THIS SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH 12PM-4PM. Stop in for crafts, food, games, prizes, special guests, stories and free used books. You are guaranteed to see a dinosaur or two!

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of two members of our community this month, Mike Warden and Thomas Gudden.

Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, friends, and everyone whose lives they touched during this difficult time. Both men will be remembered by many throughout the town, and their absence will be deeply felt.

Please keep their loved ones in your hearts as the community mourns these losses together.

The DINOSAURS are coming to the library this summer!

Families and children of all ages are invited to join the Moffat County Libraries Craig Branch as they kick-off the 2026 Summer Reading Program "Unearth a Story" with a free day of fun at their Dino-Mite Kick-off Carnival on Saturday, June 6th from 12pm to 4pm. All ages can register for the reading program and enjoy an afternoon of carnival style games, crafts, food, stories, special guests, free used books and of course DINOSAURS!
