Since 1989, Henderson has centered on the conviction that our children learn best when taught collectively. Our classrooms include a cross-section of the city’s larger population -- general education students, students with disabilities, and kids considered talented and gifted – all learning from and growing with one another. We believe by integrating children both educationally and socially, we can instill an appreciation of the differences and promote an integral acceptance of others. And, most importantly, we believe our inclusive classrooms foster each child’s sense of responsibility for the collective whole.

Stop by the Codman Square Branch of the Boston Public Library on Thursday after school to celebrate being back at school! It's also a great day to sign-up for a library card, if you don't already have one!

Join us on Thursday, September 24 for our Back to School Ice Cream Social! 🍨😋

Celebrate with us as we say farewell to summer reading and hello to the new school year!

Participants will make ice cream with Ms. Sherry and when you're done you can add sprinkles, whipped cream, and other fun toppings.

Dear BPS families and partners,
We hope to see you at our 13th annual BTU Back to School Fair this Sunday! Every year at this event we give away over 40,000 books and welcome thousands of families, students, and educators for a day of family-fun activities, food, and resources from dozens of partners! Save the date and join us Sunday, September 20th from 10am - 2pm. We also have flyers available in Spanish, Portuguese, Cape Verdean, Arabic, Haitian Creole, and Vietnamese.
Who: BPS Families, Students and Educators
What: 13th Annual BTU Back to School Fair!
When: Sunday, Sept 20 from 10am-2pm
Where: BTU Hall, 180 Mt. Vernon St, Dorchester 02125

BTU has parking on premises and is located within walking distance from the JFK-UMass T stop on the Red Line.
