Douglas Flat Schoolhouse

Douglas Flat Schoolhouse Built in 1854, the Douglas Flat Schoolhouse is the oldest school house in Calaveras County and now serves as a community center.

The Schoolhouse and Grounds are available to rent for regular meetings and special events. Rental income pays for ongoing expenses such as utilities, up-keep and minor repairs. Donations are also gladly accepted. Renters and activities are pre-qualified by arrangement with DFCC

We are getting close friends! Be on the lookout for the link to this year’s silent auction! We have stepped out of the 1800’s and decided to join the rest of the world with an online auction. So if you are unable to attend the event, you can still support by bidding on our auction items that have been graciously donated by local businesses and families!
