Attention, ! 📣

You may notice SoCalGas employees wearing updated uniforms while working in Duarte. These employees perform important services such as maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service visits to help keep our community's natural gas system safe and reliable.

When a SoCalGas employee visits your property, look for:
• An updated uniform with the SoCalGas logo
• An official photo identification badge (you can always ask to see it)
• A branded SoCalGas vehicle (for most field employees)

Please note that some authorized contractors may not wear SoCalGas uniforms or drive company vehicles, but they are required to carry official identification verifying their affiliation with SoCalGas.

If you're ever unsure about someone's identity, ask to see their identification badge or contact SoCalGas at 1-800-427-2200 to verify.

"¡El verano está en pleno apogeo y hay mucho sucediendo en Duarte! ☀️

Alcalde Tera Martin Del Campo regresa con su Informe Trimestral de Verano 2026, donde el Concejal Cesar A. Garcia comparte algunos de los emocionantes proyectos, programas y eventos que se están llevando a cabo en nuestra comunidad.

En esta actualización conocerá los avances en la construcción del Camino Recreativo Donald y Bernice Watson, la reapertura de las canchas de pickleball y futsal recientemente renovadas en Duarte Sports Park, y como Pasadena Humane ahora proporciona los servicios de control y resguardo de animales para la Ciudad.

Concejal Garcia también hace un recuento de nuestra Celebración del Día de la Independencia y Espectáculo de Fuegos Artificiales, además de compartir lo que viene para el resto del verano, incluyendo National Night Out con Touch-A-Truck, Splashtacular y la carrera de barcos de cartón, y la celebración del centenario de la Ruta 66 con un Desfile y un festival.

Summer is in full swing, and there's a lot happening in Duarte! ☀️

Mayor Tera Martin Del Campo is back with her Summer 2026 Quarterly Report, highlighting some of the exciting projects, programs, and events taking place throughout our community.

In this update, you'll hear about construction progress on the Donald and Bernice Watson Recreation Trail, the reopening of the newly resurfaced pickleball and futsal courts at Duarte Sports Park, and Pasadena Humane's new role providing animal control services.

Mayor Martin Del Campo also reflects on our Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks Show and shares what's ahead, including National Night Out with Touch-A-Truck, Splashtacular & Cardboard Boat Derby, and the Route 66 Parade & Street Fest celebrating the 100th anniversary of Route 66.

Do you have unwanted or outdated prescription meds? Drop them off safely at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Prescription (Rx) Turn-In Event happening Saturday, August 8 from 12 – 3 PM at Temple Sheriff's Station (8838 East Las Tunas Drive, Temple City, CA 91780).

Please place your medications in a sealed Ziplock-type bag prior to arriving at the event.

Over-the-counter meds, inhalers, and aerosol containers cannot be accepted and should be disposed of separately at home. Additionally, sharp items, such as needles, are no longer accepted.
