Just a quick reminder for all my Dubuque County people. I will NEVER use AI to scan your vital records! It's absolutely unnecessary when we have proven technology that can't hallucinate an answer. Your current incumbent Recorder Ann Sweeney thinks it's good idea to allow your records to be indexed by an AI. Don't take my word for it, here it is in her own words.

I found the time last night to get over to the Grand River Center to voice my opposition to Hyperscale Data Centers. It was good to see so many folks out with information in hand on why these are bad for the city and the county. We may all disagree on a lot of issues, but here we are united!
