Visit the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center which is part of a larger project - the East Fork Wetland Project. This project diverts a percentage of water each day from the East Fork of the Trinity River into the wetland where the water is cleansed by nature, not machinery. After 7-10 days in the wetland, the cleansed water is transported via a 43 mile pipeline to Lavon Lake for storage and delivery for the municipal water supply for cities in North Texas.

Thankfully, the diversity of trees in Duncanville's urban canopy will help reduce the level of devastation that has been seen in northern states. However, if your yard has an ash tree in it, be on the lookout because these tree pests have made it to the DFW area.
#EmeraldAshBorer

Emerald ash borers were found in Denton County, which makes the second active site in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, but the first in an urban neighborhood in Texas! These exotic tree pests are known to attack ash trees almost exclusively and cause trees to quickly dry out and become brittle, making them hazardous to people and property.

Thanks Mayor Barry Gordon 4 all Ur Support!!! Much love & appreciation my brother in Christ!!!!
A conspiracy to destroy not only all the rose bushes in our City of Duncanville Parks and landscape responsibilities. But ! the same for the long row of Red - Tip Photina,s that line the West siide of Main St. Duncanville, Tx giving a long line of single file shrubs leading to the FALLEN Hometown Warrior and beyond. So! the parks dept says " too expensive too many man hours to rake the deases leaves. One gal of Eagle fungicide could do all the Shrubs and Roses in our fair City cost $175. Our city spends that much on getting shoe marks off the Field House wood floor.Seniors don't ask for muchlower taxes and something pretty to look at . .
