A vehicle can become deadly in just minutes—even if the air conditioner is running.

🌡️ When it's 90°F outside, the temperature inside a vehicle can reach:
• 109°F in 10 minutes
• 124°F in 30 minutes
• 133°F in 60 minutes

🌡️ When it's 100°F outside, the temperature inside a vehicle can reach:
• 119°F in 10 minutes
• 134°F in 30 minutes
• 143°F in 60 minutes

Never leave:
👶 Children
👵 Elderly adults
♿ Individuals with disabilities
🐾 Pets

As temperatures rise, remember that children are at risk both inside and outside of a moving vehicle.

🔥 Never leave a child unattended in a vehicle — not even for a minute. A vehicle can heat up dangerously fast, even with the windows cracked.

✅ Make sure every child is properly secured:
• Rear-facing car seat when appropriate
• Forward-facing car seat when appropriate
• Booster seat until the vehicle seat belt fits correctly
• Children 12 and under should ride in the back seat
