Great meeting with Senate President Stuart Adams yesterday to continue advocating for Eagle Mountain’s transportation needs.

We discussed advancing both the funding and timeline for key projects like Lake Mountain Corridor (formerly Mid Valley Road) and SR-73, and how important these improvements are for our residents, our commuters, and the future of our city.

These conversations are key to getting us where we need to be, and I will keep showing up, pushing forward, and working with state leaders to make sure Eagle Mountain’s needs are heard. And trust me, we are being heard.

It was also great running into our own Brooks Benson, who was up at the Capitol showing his commitment as he runs for State Senate.

At UDOT today with our Engineer David Salazar, following through on the commitment to keep pushing for solutions to our road and transportation challenges.

These conversations are important, and we will continue advocating for the road improvements and funding Eagle Mountain needs.

Friday night lights at the rodeo.

It was great to have County Sheriff Mike Smith spend the evening with us. We’re grateful not only for his support, but for the entire Eagle Mountain sheriff team who show up night after night to help keep these events safe and enjoyable for everyone.

And for those asking about the pink shirts, tonight is Cancer Awareness Night. We wear pink in honor of those who have faced cancer, those currently fighting, and the families standing beside them.
