School may be starting, but that’s no reason to stop RIDING!

Join Karen for four Saturday RIDE experiences created for girls ages 9–13:
August 22
August 29
September 19
September 26

All RIDEs will run from 9 AM–12 PM.

Sign up for the full four-RIDE series or drop in on the Saturdays that work for you.

We’ll meet at the Haymaker parking lot, just like camp, but these RIDEs will lean into our value of EXPLORE as we set out on bigger routes, build confidence, and create lasting friendships along the way.

For girls ages 11 and up, this is also a great opportunity to learn more about our RIDE Mentorship Program.

The practices that shape us become part of us through repetition—which is why we return to the same RIDE values and rituals again and again.

One of our favorites?

Celebrating WOW, COOL moments.

This practice was inspired by psychologist Dacher Keltner’s book, Awe: The New Science of Everyday Wonder and How It Can Transform Your Life.

Keltner identifies eight common pathways to awe. The obvious one for RIDE is nature, of course.

But the most common source of awe is moral beauty: witnessing another person’s courage, kindness, generosity, or goodness.

It’s the kid who helps another rider without being asked.

The mentor who offers encouragement at exactly the right moment.

The coach who notices someone quietly doing something brave.

Those moments stop us in our tracks.

Or, in kid language:

WOW. COOL.

Each week, we pause to celebrate these moments within our riders, coaches, and mentors—because what we notice and celebrate becomes part of how we move through the world.

Adventure has a way of teaching lessons no classroom ever could.

This week, our RIDE crew set off on a scavenger hunt—but what they were really practicing was our RIDE value of Explore.

Exploring isn’t just about finding the next clue or riding a new trail.

It’s learning to stay curious.
To ask questions.
To work together.
To notice what’s around us.
To trust ourselves when we don’t immediately know the answer.

Every ride becomes an opportunity to EXPLORE:
✨ Physically, by discovering what our bodies are capable of.
✨ Mentally, by solving problems and thinking creatively.
✨ Emotionally, by building confidence through challenges.
✨ Spiritually, by experiencing the joy, wonder, and connection that comes from being outside together.

These are the moments that help kids grow into resilient humans—not just stronger riders.

We still have a few spots available in our August camps before school starts, and we’d love to have your family join us for one more week of adventure.

Let’s get outside. Let’s explore. 💙

Call us crazy, but we believe kids (and adults) need spaces where they can be WILD.

Spaces where scraped knees, loud laughter, and big adventures are celebrated. Where they’re rooted in the RIDE values—Respect, Inspire, Dare, and Explore—while being given the freedom to let their true, wild selves come alive.

This is what we aim for. 🩵

There’s no denying our RIDE coaches & mentors provide something special for kids in our community—some might even say a little magic. 🪄✨

Now, we’re ALL ABOUT MAGIC… but we can’t hold back all our secrets.

The truth is, that magic comes from giving our coaches and mentors the training, support, and tools they need to feel confident and prepared.

And that’s where we can’t take full credit.
