TODAY MR. TRUMP CONTINUES THE FIGHT!

The fight for us. The fight we asked him to engage. The fight his and our enemies tried to end, with lawfare and with gunfire.

On Sunday, January 19th Mr. Trump visited Arlington National Cemetary (see photo attached) honoring Americans who fell at the fall of Afghanistan. He was accompanied by Melania, and four of his children: Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany. Various Trump Cabinet picks also attended, including Pete Hegseth, his pick for secretary of defense; Marco Rubio, the secretary of state-designate; and Tulsi Gabbard, Trump's choice for director of national intelligence.

Today we celebrate our State Board of Education. This would NOT have happened several years ago. We thank them for their deliberations and for representing the wishes of the people of Idaho.
THIS is what we work for and why we do what we do. Our Governor has stepped up strongly on this issue and we stand with him and with our state board.

The Idaho Board of Education approved a resolution on Wednesday that will effectively ban DEI initiatives and offices in public colleges and universities.

THANKSGIVING DAY
A Poem by Thomas Frederick Young

God of the harvest, once again
Our joyful tones we raise,
For all Thy goodness, day by day,
We give Thee thankful praise.
With blessings rich, from fertile field,
And gifts from fruitful tree,
We wish, this day, our thanks to yield
With earnest hearts, to Thee.

Wishing you all a warm Thanksgiving filled with family, food, and blessings.

TODAY WE VOTE!

It's Election Day, and yes, we know many of you have voted. Thank you.

We know too that many of you will be at your local polls today to cast your ballot. Thank you.
We also want to take a moment to thank the many poll workers who make it all possible; our Secretary of State Phil McGrane (R), and our Ada County Clerk Trent Tripple (R). We believe Idaho's votes are secure this election and we appreciate those who make them so. Thank you.

If you have friends or family who have not voted please direct them to our Idaho Majority Club Endorsements. These are the men and women we have endorsed and trust with our future as a Nation, State, and our Cities and Counties.

On this Election Day we are reminded that we are an organization based upon principles and we share this quote from our 6th President:

"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that you vote is never lost."
- John Quincy Adams

THANK YOU For all that you do!

TIME TO VOTE!!!

Voting for the future of America and Idaho has seldom been more important. Abraham Lincoln said it well:

"Elections belong to the people...If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters."
- Abraham Lincoln

We know many of you have voted, or plan to on Tuesday. We must rally friends and family to do so as well. This is not a year that we can turn from the heat and sit on our "blisters."

Riley Gaines’ courage. Our advocacy. Governor Brad Little’s leadership. These all came together today as Boise State’s Women’s Volleyball took a forfeit in a match rather than compete against a female/male team from San Jose State University.

We hate the “loss,” but our lady Broncos are big winners in our eyes and this “forfeit” is squarely on the NCAA that allows such foolishness at the expense of legitimate women’s sports.

Friends and fellow IMC’ers this is why we do what we do. This is Idaho leadership and we are proud to be a part of it. We hope you are proud too. Please let the governor’s office and the BSU athletic department know we support them.

They are gone but the memory lives on. Our love for those who perished lives on. The firefighters climbing the stairs to reach others as the buildings fell. That is America.

Today is our formal day of remembrance. But we remember everyday.

We love every day - our families and friends, co-workers and those we pass on the street. Our first-responders and all in uniform. Our America. And God Almighty as we kneel in prayer and remembrance.

And we do not forget.

RILEY GAINES SPEAKS IN IDAHO
Joins Governor Little to Defend Women's Sports

Former NCAA 12-time All-American swimmer Ms. Riley Gaines joined Idaho Governor Brad Little on the steps of the Capitol Wednesday (Aug 28th) to celebrate and protect women’s sports. Gaines was brought to Idaho by the Idaho Majority Club, (idahomajorityclub.com).

Gaines spoke for about 10 minutes alongside the governor and surrounded by school-aged children, athletes, parents, and coaches. They cheered roundly as the Governor announced and signed an Executive Order, “Defending Women's Sports Act". Little declared this as the first of its kind in the nation, a truly historic moment for Idaho.

Riley Gaines, the University of Kentucky swimmer turned fairness in women’s sports activist was a champion of the children and mugged for photos as long as they desired.

Then on to a private luncheon at Leku Ona on the Basque Block in downtown Boise, with those who sponsored the event, and like-minded legislators, where Riley signed copies her book, “Swimming Against the Current.”

Capping the day, Idaho Representative Barbara Ehardt and Riley Gaines spoke in Meridian in an outdoor venue to a crowd of several hundred. Both women recounted challenges women face in sports from the intrusion of men onto women’s teams and into their locker rooms.

Gaines serves as the Independent Women’s Voice Ambassador and has been an outspoken critic of males, who identify as females, competing in female-only sports categories. Gaines says that males have distinct advantages over women in certain sports, such as competitive swimming, and letting them compete in women’s sports takes away opportunities from individuals who are biologically female.

Both women concluded with their beliefs that this current trend is an attack on the American family and our values.
Idaho Majority Club Chairman Travis Clyde stated “We don’t protect our women because they are weak, but because it is right. We protect them because they are our mothers and wives, daughters and sisters, grandmothers, and more. We protect them because we are enlightened and civilized people. We are so proud to have Riley Gaines join us in our fight in Idaho, and for the support of Governor Little, and Attorney General Labrador.”

Secretary of State’s Statement

Ballot Initiative: Idaho’s Secretary of State Phil McGrane penned a letter this week to our Legislative Council (Pro Tempore, Speaker, and others) advising them that the citizen’s initiative petitions appear to be in order and that the issue(s) will be on the November ballot for voter consideration. These would include primary election changes from the current process to a “Top Four” election and an “Instant Runoff” also known as “Ranked Choice.” Here is his introduction to the Legislative Council:

“…every indication is that there are sufficient total signatures and signatures by legislative district to proceed to the General Election ballot. As the petition enters this next phase of the process and advances to the voters of Idaho, I feel it is necessary to make you, as members of the Legislature and overseers of appropriations, as well as the other parties involved, aware of some important considerations and potential implications regarding changes to our voting processes being proposed.
As Secretary of State, I serve in two capacities related to this initiative. First is that of the executive branch official charged with overseeing the initiative processes, receiving the filings, and ensuring that all appropriate steps are completed, including putting the proposed amendments before the voters of Idaho. In this role, my responsibility is to protect the people's right to petition and to ensure the processes outlined by the Legislature in Idaho Code Title 34 Chapter 18 are followed. The second is that of the state's chief election officer, pursuant to Idaho Code §34-201. Because this petition specifically aims to amend Idaho’s election code and process, my office, in conjunction with the county clerks, will be tasked with implementing the proposed changes. I am writing today in this second role of chief election officer.”

Secretary McGrane then outlines in detail the election issues of these initiatives and the fiscal impact of them. You can read the entirety of his letter here:

Happening now: In short, that explains the Boise School District’s grading policy, now under review. In 2017 they decided that giving students the grades they earned was just wrong. So they made the change – any score from 0-49 on an assignment or exam would be given a 50. Other districts nationally have adopted this model, but some have already moved back to traditional grading.

For super-woke Boise, they have a consultant from Canada who calls the shots. To be fair, maybe he’s right, but also maybe just one year during education funding debates on the floor of the legislature there should be a call to reveal all consultants and the fix-all solutions they sell.

One concern we have though is preparing students for a world of work. Will they expect 50% pay for not showing up? Will they automatically start with a 50% on the LSAT, or CPA exam, or other professional licensure tests – engineers, realtors, etc? We won’t all agree on this issue so it is good to be informed. Please read Carly Flandro’s detailed report on it.

And why must we tinker, ever tinker with centuries-old success? See the story link below.

“It’s an imperfect solution to an already imperfect system,” said an educational consultant who pushed for the policy.
