IGROW is the Illinois symbol for quality evidence-based home visiting services to expectant parents and families with new babies and young children. Promotes family self-sufficiency.
2. Has a positive effect on parenting.
3. Reduces child maltreatment
4. Increases kindergarten readiness.
5. Promotes parent-child attachment.
6. Provide developmental screening.
7. Provide linkage to community re

sources and services such as: medical providers, WIC, DHS, DCFS, CHASI, shelters, pantries, childcare, utility assistance, community events, Intergovernmental Grants, Violence Prevention, Housing Authority, Mental Health, Employment, and Education.
