History isn’t just made by famous people- it’s shaped by everyday people. ✨

We're excited to celebrate the release of Unheard: The American Revolution – Stories of Ordinary People in Extraordinary Times, a new graphic novel anthology that brings the Revolutionary era to life through the eyes of the everyday people who experienced it.

Created in collaboration with award-winning cartoonist and illustrator Jonathan Hill, Unheard features a collection of original stories inspired by the people who may have crossed paths at the 1753 Bachmann Publick House. Rather than focusing on famous historical figures, the graphic novel imagines the lives of tavern workers, travelers, artisans, families, soldiers, and other ordinary individuals whose experiences were just as much a part of the American Revolution. The anthology blends historical research with compelling artwork to offer a fresh perspective on life in eighteenth-century Easton.

We're throwing it back to an unforgettable evening at the Easton Declaration Dinner, where community members, leaders, and history enthusiasts came together to celebrate the beginning of America's 250th anniversary commemoration right here in the Lehigh Valley.

From honoring our region's rich Revolutionary history to looking ahead at the exciting events leading up to America's Semiquincentennial, it was a night filled with reflection, inspiration, and community pride.

Thank you to everyone who joined us as we celebrated the Lehigh Valley's important role in our nation's story led by the partnership of Greater Easton Development Partnership and Sigal Museum, two of the city's key organizations that are preserving the past and building the future of this community. Our sincere thanks to the top-notch team Thyme Rooftop Grille for serving as the perfect venue for this historic commemoration.
