More than 4,000 voices. One unforgettable night.✨

Last week, Coca-Cola Park became the stage for something truly extraordinary as the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and The Bach Choir of Bethlehem brought our community together for Let Freedom Sing- a powerful celebration honoring America’s 250th anniversary.

From school, community, and adult choirs filling the ballpark with patriotic music, to the moving storytelling behind each song, to the incredible grand finale sing-along and fireworks display, the evening was a testament to the power of music to unite, inspire, and celebrate our shared history.

Thank you to WFMZ for sharing the story of LV250!

Lehigh Valley 250 is led by Lafayette College, Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites, Sigal Museum, and the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor.

Senator Lisa M. Boscola was interviewed for the WFMZ story and said, “The Senate is Republican majority, the House is Democrat majority, we have a Democratic governor,” Boscola said. “You can’t do anything unless you work together. If you’re going to be a region that wants to secure funding dollars, you have to work together.”

This Memorial Day, Lehigh Valley 250 pauses to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As we prepare to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary, we are reminded that the story of our nation has always been shaped by sacrifice, courage, and a deep commitment to the ideals of freedom and democracy.

Here in the Lehigh Valley, we carry forward a rich legacy of service — from the Revolutionary generation to those who have answered the call in every generation since.

Today, we remember them with gratitude.
