Harford Community Action Agency has Community Investment Tax Credits (CITC) available for use by December 30, 2012. All donations $500 or greater receive a 50% state tax credit for use on their state tax returns. This credit is in addition to Federal and State Charitable Donation credits available to the donor. Donations may be accepted from both businesses and inidividuals so it truly is a win-win situation. The current round of CITCs provide operating income for our Family and Financial Development Programs, one with a self-sufficiency goal that will help to break the cycle of poverty.
