On Tuesday, June 30th, from 5:30PM - 7:30PM at the Edison Municipal Complex, join the Edison Police Department and members from the Mobile Family Success Center and Keep Middlesex Moving for the Edison Bike Rodeo. It’s a FREE family-friendly event that gives community members an opportunity to learn about pedestrian safety, while participating in bike games, challenges, raffles, and more!

Despite the heat, law enforcement officers from across New Jersey came together once again to carry the Flame of Hope and support the incredible athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey. Edison continues to show up every year, earning the top four spot yet again. From celebrating our athletes, our partners, including the New Jersey Devils, to recognizing individuals whose dedication continues to strengthen this movement, Opening Day Ceremony was a reminder of what makes the Torch Run family so special. The miles may have been hot, but the passion for our athletes burned even brighter. The torch continues to burn bright!

While Captain Gerba’s presence was certainly missed, his leadership and passion were felt throughout the event. We can’t wait to cheer him on as he represents New Jersey on one of the biggest stages in the Special Olympics movement. Stay tuned!
