BEHIND THE SCENES: Sculpting Bhodi ✨

Amongst the Uncommon Ground’s picnic pavilions and stone structures, a luxurious leather lounger may make you do a double take — but this couch and accompanying canine are both bronze!

Take a look at progress pics from Brett Chomer’s studio, as he sculpted his real Italian Staghound and regal recliner.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Chomer graduated from high school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas Tech. Brett currently sculpts animals and insects, and paints landscapes.

“My inspiration comes from the world inside and around me. In the past, I used fancy art words to describe my work, but really, I was just creating designs I enjoy.” - Brett Chomer
