Welcome Home!!

An unsuspecting senior at Edwards Desert High School got a big surprise March 7th when the school’s principal unexpectedly removed him from class. Little did Jordan Bella know that his father, Chief Master Sergeant Michael Bella was just outside the classroom door. Sergeant Bella had just completed a seven month deployment to Afghanistan and came to the school to surprise his son. While this heartwarming video shares the love between this father and son, there is much more to the story, which you can read in the March 14th edition of the Desert Wings or on our Website at www.edwards.af.mil.

Thursday, January 16, 2014 10:00-11:00 PM EDT (7-8pm our time here at Edwards AFB)

https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/186239488...

"If the term “polynomial” confuses, mystifies, or befuddles you, then this webinar, Demystifying Polynomials, is for you!
In this one-hour interactive session, one of our math experts, Tutor.com tutor Ed L., will clear up the many vocabulary terms that cause confusion. Webinar participants will learn about and understand what the standard form of a polynomial looks like, and will explore what can be, and what cannot be considered a polynomial. Finding the degree of a polynomial will be a cinch after learning the key points to look out for. After this session adding and subtracting polynomials will be much easier.
As we dive into multiplication, we will quickly review the rules of exponents to help find solutions. Finally, we will wrap up by looking at simplification tips and tricks to help students with the most simple polynomial division problems. Demystifying Polynomials involves audience participation, allowing everyone who attends a chance to check their understanding, ask questions, and bolster their confidence when working with polynomials."
